Top 10 Reasons Why the Blog Editor Hasn't Been Posting Often or Recently

    10. We joined Facebook.

    9.  I've been resolved to devote the necessary time to the housekeeping, gardening, ironing and mending.

    8.  I'm catching up on emails.

    7.  Church administration and discipleship needs have increased.

    6.  We made a new, elaborate, hourly family schedule to help balance family, ministry and schooling needs.  The blog didn't get put on the schedule and hasn't rated high enough to bump the schedule.

    5.  I'm now teaching a ladies Bible study.

    4.  We've said "yes" to the kids more often.

    3.  Revelations about my physical health, and efforts to avoid needing surgery, have required some fitness changes...meaning that staying up for blogging between 11p and 12a is not allowed.

    2.  Does anyone read this blog?

    1.  We've been training the puppy.

    Thanks to our Readers

Due to our increasing patronage, we have upgrade this account by paying a nominal fee.  This means you may visit without being annoyed by third party advertisements.  Disclaimer:  This does not mean we may not place an advertisement at some point.

Our choice of Windows Live Spaces was not thoroughly researched in our usual purchasing manner.  In fact, we knew absolutely nothing about blog ownership or where to start when we started.  This blog option just happened to be a link on our Windows Messenger account and we took it.  We are sorry to report that we can't find a way for readers to leave comments without signing in.  If you already have a hotmail account or use Windows Messenger (or Windows Live), you need only enter your regular sign-in details for either of those services and you will then be able to leave a comment.  We can only guess that this policy helps to cut down on unwanted comments.

If you have any suggestions for the blog, let us know.  One day we may use it for ministry purposes, but for now the goal is to just give our family and friends, in both our homelands, a window into our not-so-private family life.

    We love you all!

    Where does one begin?

We are trying to catch up with technology here!  It is hard to believe we spent hundreds of dollars on phone calls and stamps during our dating daze.  We aren't so very old, but email didn't even exist when we were dating!  Now people want us to blog instead of emailing.  What next?

Please pardon the lack of information and photos on this site.  We need an UNDER CONSTRUCTION sign.  These days we are priviledged to be serving Good News Baptist Church.  In addition, Scott is working a secular job, Lori is home schooling, and we are tackling important family projects such as teaching a six year-old how to ride a bike without training wheels and teaching a two year-old how to live without diapers.  The children are begging for a pet, and we are saying, "Please!  There is enough happening right now!"  But then, wouldn't it be fun to surprise them for Christmas?
We promise to add more to this space in weeks to come.  So, will you come back?
